There may be nights when you fail yourself; when you fail to do something which was decided and then something or the other holds you back. In those serious nights of stress, go back to sleep but make sure when you wake up the next morning, you be as confident as the rainbow, which colors the monochrome sky to the seven wonderful colors. Make sure you're confident enough to shine through the dark clouds, make sure you see the silver lining in those dark clouds and chase for them. Yesterday I was passing through a footpath and one little thing, one scrawny little thing grabbed my attention. It was a plant emerging out of the tiles. It is the seeds determination and the hope to see the silver lining every morning and hope for a break through the tiles. Be like the little plant, be like the rainbow, be like the water, that no matter how hard and tough your path may be, or you don't at all see a path, make your determination so strong that with every moving step you have a way in front of you. Even the hard rocks fail against the waters determination then why can't we fail our problems? "EVERY CHALLENGE IS AN OPPORTUNITY", they say. Those are your challenges which make you strong and hard and more survivable in the tough times ahead. And yet if you fail, remember: "YOU WERE THE ONE TO WIN THE RACE BETWEEN THE MILLIONS OF BROTHERS AND SISTERS. YOUR LIFE STARTED WITH A WIN. MAKE SURE YOU KEEP THAT PACE FOREVER, WITH DETERMINATION, STRENGTH, HOPE AND BE THE SILVER LINING IN THE DARKEST OF CLOUDS."And yet, before being the water or the little plant or the rainbow, make sure that your BE YOURSELF.
You decide whether you want to go with the flow or against it. Every life has ups and downs that doesn't mean you'll stay down until another wave hits you to raise you. Fall down and rise higher, that is when things change.
While there are many poems that have kept me motivated for many tasks throughout life, I would like to tell you one of them.
Don't look for the flaws as you go through life;
And even when you find them,
It is wise and kind to be somewhat blind
And look for the virtue behind them.
For the cloudiest night has a hint of light
Somewhere in it's shadows hiding;
It is better by far to hunt for a star,
Than the spots on the sun abiding.
The current of life runs ever away
To the bosom of God's great ocean.
Don't set your force against the river's course,
And think to alter it's motion.
Don't waste a curse on the Universe- Remember it lived before you
Don't butt at the storm with your puny form,
But bend and let it go over you.
The world will never adjust itself
To suit your whims to the letter.
Some things must go wrong your whole life long,
And the sooner you know it the better.
And go under at last in the wrestle;
The wiser man shapes into God's plan
As water shapes into a vessel.
